Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-30

1. Acceptance

By using QRinst you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Permitted use

QRinst is free to use for personal, commercial, and educational purposes, including generated codes, without watermarking or attribution requirements. Paid ("Pro") plans unlock dynamic codes, analytics, and higher limits as described on the site at time of purchase.

3. Your responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of anything you encode — destination URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, vCard details, payment identifiers (such as crypto addresses), and uploaded files — including before printing or distributing a QR code.

4. Prohibited use

You may not use QRinst to create or distribute codes that:

  • Link to malware, phishing pages, or other deceptive destinations
  • Facilitate illegal activity or infringe another person's rights
  • Are used to abuse, overload, or circumvent the service (e.g. automated scraping outside the documented API, attempting to bypass quota limits, or uploading content you don't have rights to)

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these terms.

5. Dynamic codes, accounts, and data retention

Dynamic QR codes point to content we host and can be edited or deleted from your dashboard. Deleting a dynamic code or your account removes the underlying data (destination, uploaded file, and statistics) from active storage; the short link itself will stop resolving.

6. Paid plans and billing

Paid plans are billed through Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your dashboard or by contacting hello@mdxtora.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Paddle as described in our Refund Policy.

7. Developer API

API access is subject to the rate limits and quotas documented on the Developers page. We may change or revoke API keys that are used abusively.

8. Service availability

QRinst is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we're not liable for losses arising from reliance on encoded content, downtime, or data loss, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Advertising

Free use of QRinst may be supported by third-party advertising (including Google AdSense). See our Privacy Policy for details on how ads and related cookies work.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of QRinst after a change means you accept the updated terms.
